I'm not quite sure whether anyone did follow the news of Scotland, referendum of independence and the desperate Cameron using four letter words on national TV... I'm excited. Wednesday is the day, whether the Highlanders with their histories of arrogance and pride would walk away from UK, or was it just another fantasy, considering the question of, can Scotland sustain on their own? Are their resources and pine tree enough to keep them at a level playing field? I remember reading about Iceland breaking away from Denmark in the 1980s, look at them now, until this day and age, the European Union has not taken them in yet. So the real question the Scottish will need to consider, can they afford to risk losing the economy benefits being part of EU membership (being part of UK)?
Difficult time, difficult choice for the Scottish, exciting time for onlookers like me. Either way, Cameron's political career is in hot soup.
