Recent Meals

These are meals served to Her Royal Fusiness recently. She weight at 14.9Kg and fed twice a day at around 350g - 400g per day. I used to measure everything when preparing her meals, but no longer do so once I gets the rough idea on how much is enough, so now I just eye- balled them.

Sometimes she would get kibbles ( Orijen Adult), sometimes home cooked meals, and other days are raw, and some snacks in between. So long as she's healthy, and happy, I don't see the point of being so rigid and making a big fuss of arguing the perfect way of feeding.

Meal time is suppose to be enjoyable.

Cow tripe + plain yogurt

Cow tripe + goat trachea + fresh egg from Rosma ( the chicken)

Chicken rib + small chunk of boneless beef + frozen yogurt with black berry and banana

Mackerel + Egg ( contributed by Rosma the chicken)

Salmon skin with salmon flakes + goat tripe + Egg ( from Rosma)

Goat intestine + bone in mutton + boiled chinese cabbage + frozen yogurt with blue berries

Mackerel + boiled carrots & pumpkin + quail eggs

cow tripe + beef + goat intestine + boiled carrot

And of course, a homely, warm bowl of wild boar stew on rainy nights.
Wild boar + chicken fillet + pork + pumpkin + carrot

Teh Pao did not get any chicken for the past few days, it is part of the effort to check whether she develop any form of allergies towards protein. Given the fact that she has atopy, and she had been scratching a lot more than usual lately even though allergy season is over, keeping an eye on her reaction towards certain types of protein is one of the way to find out whether she developed allergies to food. So far types of food that I've observe are:

Eggs - no issues
Lamb/ mutton - no issues
Pork - no issues
Wild boar ( cooked) - no issues

I've also removed bone in meat from her meal time and serve them as treats/ tea time in between meals along with organs ( liver/ spleen/ kidney/testicles...etc). We're running low on food ( both raw and kibbles), I'll be making another purchase soon and that will make a dent in monthly budgeting in June >.<
