Couple of weeks back Teg Pao's allergy started to flare up, and as preventive I had been wiping her body with apple cider diluted, and manage to get it under control.
Couple of days back her allergy flare up and nothing could stop her from scratching and hurting herself. Called for an appointment with her vet and sent her in for a quick check. Teh Pao been on Prednisolone 5mg once a day whenever her allergy flare up for the duration of 3 to 5 days, and usually things will be under control, not this time though.
Dr. Dev from Kinrara Vets prescribed her with a higher dosage, Prednisolone 5mg ( a type of steroid) twice a day, taken together with Aurocef 250mg ( or cefalexin, a type of antibiotic) for the inflamed area caused by the constant scratching.
Her condition been pretty much under control after 2 days, and I guess I have to think of a much better solution when it comes to daily cleaning of the house.
