The Pao's Maintenance: October 2013

This is one of the ongoing effort to keep track on expense spent on the Royal Fusiness at home.

Money Spent in October...
Food and Treats: RM141.35
Veterinary and Medical: N/A
Accessories and Miscellaneous: RM6.00

TOTAL = RM147.35

Food
Entire expenses in October are for food. Apart form the usual chicken, carrots and potatoes, we tried Sunday Pet's Raw Chow and their New Zealand Freeze Dried Green Lipped Mussels treats.

These are our very first experience with freeze dried food, and to my surprise, Teh Pao being the fussy dog especially when it comes to commercial or store bought food actually planted her bottom to the floor immediately the moment I pick up the treat packet, and even steal the entire packet of  freeze dried mussels and hide it in her favorite spot - my bed, under her blanket, TWICE.

A bag full of evilness...

Quality wise, I am very pleased with it. Each bag comes with reasonable amount of individual mussels, and I find the smell very tempting, so on one fine evening, I helped myself to one, they taste good. Been using them as training treats especially during outdoor sessions, and so far been very successful in getting Teh Pao's absolute attention BWAHAHHA! Bought at the price of RM28 instead of the usual RM33 during promotion, would definitely buy it again.

I also made some chicken stew with veggies and individually pack + freeze 'em so that younger brother can feed Teh Pao according to her daily portion. Stew has always been a great hit at home, but I wouldn't make it too often because I believe something should be kept for special moments, to keep the warmth and comfort of one's at home.

Others
Bought a pack of poop bags ( comes in 3 rolls) in local supermarket at RM6. Should last for a few months.
