Suppose to get home and see my Teh Pao today but there were some overdue paperworks came in last minute.. =(
Anyway, with fasting month approaching ( Wednesday it is!), my butcher here slaughtered a buffalo and he saved me some parts.

I also bought some buffalo tripe for a change.
It is much thicker than a cow tripe. Feels like holding on a carpet instead of the usual sand paper texture from cow tripe.
I'm in search for a freezer.
Buffalo tripe makes me think of mushrooms, perhaps a thick clump of maitake...
